Rooted in Love.
Grounded in Science.
Guided by Your Values.
Parent coaching services with Michelle San Agustin that help families navigate early childhood with practical, values-aligned, science-informed strategies.
Understand Your Child, Trust Yourself, and Make Parenting Decisions That Align With Your Family’s Values
I know how exhausting it can feel to sort through endless parenting advice, especially when none of it seems to account for your actual child.
Root coaching is not about finding the perfect script or the one strategy that will solve every challenge. We help parents build a deeper understanding of their child and a clearer sense of what matters to their family, so they can make thoughtful decisions, adapt their approach, and continue to grow alongside their child.

Michelle San Agustin
Since 2011, I've had the privilege of supporting children and families as a Montessori educator, mentor to early childhood teachers, and parent coach. Through this work, I've seen firsthand that there is no such thing as a perfect parent. There are only parents who care deeply and want to grow alongside their child.
As a parent myself, I know how easy it is to feel pulled in many directions. As we balance the many roles and responsibilities that fill our lives, it can be difficult to pause, respond with intention, and parent in a way that truly reflects our values. Yet beneath it all is a shared hope: to create a childhood that allows our children to thrive and to give them something even better than what we inherited.
My role is not to tell you how to parent. Instead, I partner with you to better understand your child, clarify the values that matter most to your family, and develop practical, science-informed strategies that honor both your child's development and your parenting goals. Together, we'll cultivate the confidence to respond with greater connection, intention, and authenticity so that your values become the foundation of your family's everyday life.

Coaching FAQ
-
No. Most often one parent participates, but both parents or additional caregivers are welcome if that best supports your family.
-
Most families begin with a Clarity Session. From there, we discuss what support would be most aligned with your goals and your family’s needs. Some families choose a set package right away, while others decide after the Clarity Session which pathway feels most supportive for their situation.
-
Yes. I offer professional development and teacher mentorship for early childhood programs, schools, and educators, including classroom observation, coaching, Montessori support, and leadership development. Trainings are tailored to each organization.
-
Parent coaching sessions are virtual. Professional development and trainings may be offered in person or virtually depending on the needs of the school or organization.
-
No. Parent coaching is educational and goal-oriented. It focuses on understanding development, shifting patterns, and building practical strategies for family life. It is not a substitute for mental health therapy or diagnosis.
-
My work is rooted in Montessori education, child development science, attachment theory, emotional regulation, and values-based parenting. The goal is to help you build an approach that aligns with your child, your family, and your values.
